Housekeeping Tunics from Bangladesh for USA Hotel Groups and Resorts
Our housekeeping tunics are made to order in our Bangladesh factory - zip-front and wrap-front tunics with matching aprons, sewn as one program so every floor of the property dresses to one standard. They are built for buyers who uniform hotel housekeeping teams and need every reorder to match the last.
Materials: Poly-cotton with a plain weave and a dry matte face, comfortable through a long shift and strong enough for daily hot washing; a lighter setting is available for warm climate properties.
Functionality: Zip or wrap front, chest pocket for the room list, two deep lower pockets for key cards and gloves, side hem vents for bending and reaching, bar-tacked stress points.
Size: Ladies sizes from XS to 3XL, graded on real body measurements with length kept in proportion at every size.
Customization: Embroidered property logos and staff names, your woven label, and packing split by property, department or floor.

Housekeeping Tunics
Housekeeping Tunics Made to Order in Bangladesh for Hotel Teams
Housekeeping is the department guests judge without ever meeting. A crisp tunic at the corridor door says the room behind it is cared for, and a tired one says the opposite before a word is spoken. The tunic works as hard as any garment in the hotel: bent, stretched, splashed and washed every single day. Siatex Bangladesh has sewn garments in Dhaka since 1987, and our housekeeping range is built for that daily round - tunics and aprons produced as one program for the property.
Every order is made to order: your cloth, your colours, your embroidery, your label and your packing, sewn as one controlled run in our own plant.
Poly-Cotton Cloth That Takes Daily Washing and Still Looks Fresh on the Floor
The standard tunic cloth is a poly-cotton blend chosen for laundry life. The cotton keeps the garment comfortable against the skin through a long shift, while the polyester holds the colour through hot washes, keeps the collar and placket sitting flat, and lets the tunic dry fast enough for next day rotation. The weave is a plain weave with a dry matte face and the yarn structure open to the eye - a real working cloth, not a shiny uniform fabric.
Weight runs light for warm climates and resort properties, or a step firmer for city hotels on industrial laundry programs. Colours are held to an approved standard across the whole run, so the tunics a property orders next year hang beside this year's set without a visible step in shade.
Zip Fronts, Wrap Fronts and Pockets Where the Work Puts Them
Two front styles cover most properties. The zip front closes flat, stays tidy through the shift and opens fast at break time; the wrap front ties or snaps at the side and gives a softer, more traditional maid uniform line. Both are cut with room across the back and shoulders, because housekeeping work is reaching, lifting and bed making, not standing still for a photograph.
Pockets are placed from the work itself: a chest pocket for the room list and pen, two lower pockets deep enough for key cards, gloves and a duster, and side vents at the hem so the tunic moves when the wearer bends. Necklines sit modest and close, short sleeves end clear of the elbow, and every stress point is bar tacked.
Aprons Matched to the Tunic in the Same Cloth and Colour Standard
Most properties dress the tunic with an apron, so we sew the aprons in the same run, from the same cloth batch and to the same colour standard. The waist apron carries a split centre pocket for spray bottles and cloths; the cross-back bib apron spreads the weight over the shoulders instead of the neck and gives fuller cover for bathroom work. Strings are cut long enough to tie at the front, and the apron hem is finished to take the same wash cycle as the tunic.
Tunic Sizes XS to 3XL Graded for the UK Hospitality Market
Housekeeping teams are mixed in height and build, and a tunic that fits badly slows the whole floor down. Our block runs from XS to 3XL, graded on body measurements gathered from UK hospitality programs, with bust, waist and hip eased at every step and body length kept in proportion so the tunic covers the hip at every size. A full measurement chart is sent with the quotation, and mixed size ratios per property are packed as instructed.
Embroidered Property Logos, Name Badges and Packing by Property
The embroidery is done in house: the property logo on the chest, staff names where the hotel wants them, and department tabs for housekeeping, laundry and public area teams. Your woven label goes in the neck and your size and care tickets are set to your wording. Packing follows the property: sets folded by department, by floor or by size run, each carton marked so a uniform store can issue the right sizes on the first morning.
Ordering Housekeeping Tunics: Property Specification, Sample, Then Bulk Sewing
An order starts from the property specification: front style, cloth, colours, embroidery positions and the apron style that goes with the tunic. We sew a pre-production sample in the ordered cloth for your approval of fit, colour and stitch work before bulk cutting begins. The minimum order is 3,000 pieces in total across the program, which a hotel group reaches by combining sizes, colours and properties in one run; inside that total, each colour and style starts from 800 pieces. Bulk sewing follows the approved sample, with checking at line and again before packing.
Markets We Ship Housekeeping Tunics To
USA: Hotel Groups and Resort Housekeeping Programs
Our largest programs run to hotel groups and resorts in the USA, where one order dresses several properties to the same standard and reorders must match the original cloth and colour.
UAE: Luxury Hotel and Serviced Apartment Uniform Programs
Hotels and serviced apartments in the UAE order lighter cloths, brighter colour sets and fine chest embroidery, with packing split by tower and department.
UK: Hotel Chains and Contract Cleaning Companies
Buyers in the UK include hotel chains and contract cleaning firms that dress staff across many sites and need steady size ratios in every delivery.
Germany: Hotel Groups and Facility Service Firms
German hotel groups and facility service firms order firm cloths, plain styling and exact size grading, with cartons marked for direct issue at each property.
France: Hotel and Aparthotel Housekeeping Teams
In France the wrap front is the favourite, ordered by hotels and aparthotel groups that want a traditional line with modern easy-care cloth.
Canada: Resort, Lodge and Hotel Staff Programs
Canadian resorts and lodges order seasonal programs, often with a longer sleeve setting for cooler properties and packing split between summer and winter houses.
Questions USA Buyers Ask Before Ordering Housekeeping Tunics
Can the property logo and staff names be embroidered on the tunic?
Yes. Chest logos, staff names and department tabs are embroidered in house before the garments are finished, and a stitched sample of your artwork is approved with the pre-production sample.
Should our team wear a zip front or a wrap front tunic?
Most large properties choose the zip front for a flat, tidy close and fast changes; the wrap front suits smaller hotels that want the traditional look. Both carry the same pockets and vents, and many groups order the zip front for rooms and the wrap front for public areas.
Do the matching aprons come in the same order?
Yes, and we recommend it. Aprons sewn in the same run share the cloth batch and colour standard of the tunics, so sets match on the floor and in the laundry from the first delivery.
What is the minimum order quantity for housekeeping tunics?
The minimum order is 3,000 pieces in total. Hotel groups usually build that total from tunics and aprons across sizes and properties, with each colour and style starting from 800 pieces.
Do you deliver housekeeping tunic orders to the USA?
Yes. The USA is our lead market for this program; cartons are packed and marked by property or department so each hotel receives its own sizes ready for issue.
