Heavy Canvas Jackets from Bangladesh for USA Workwear Brands and Utility Ranges

Our canvas jacket is made to order in our Bangladesh factory - a heavy cotton duck canvas work jacket with a plain chore coat cut, a snap button front and room through the shoulders for real work. It is the jacket workwear brands build a utility line around, and the one their customers wear until the canvas has shaped itself to the job.

Materials: Heavy cotton duck canvas, tightly woven with a matte, dry face and the weave clear to the eye. A mid weight setting and a garment wash can be set where a program needs them, with colour held steady across the run.

Functionality: Brass snap front, four patch pockets plus an inside pocket, triple-stitched main seams, bar-tacked pocket corners, back shoulder pleats and snap tab cuffs, with flannel or quilted linings as options.

Size: Men's sizes from S to XXXL, graded on adult measurements with the proportions held at every size.

Customization: Your woven label, embroidered chest patch, size tabs, hang tags and packing to your format.

Canvas Jacket

Men's Canvas Jackets Made to Order in Bangladesh

A canvas jacket is the one garment in a workwear range that buyers judge with their hands. They pick it up, feel the weight of the cloth and check the stitching at the pocket corners before they talk about price. Our canvas jacket is built to pass that test: a heavy cotton duck canvas shell, a plain chore coat cut with room to work in, and seams sewn to be pulled at. Siatex Bangladesh has manufactured garments in Dhaka since 1987, on the same lines as the workwear our buyers reorder season after season.

Every order is made to order - your colour, your label, your lining choice and your packing, produced as one controlled run held to the approved sample.

Heavy Cotton Duck Canvas That Shrugs Off Abrasion

Duck canvas is a plain weave cotton cloth woven tight, yarn against yarn, so the face is dense and hard to scuff. It is the cloth of work jackets and tool rolls for one reason: it takes abrasion that would rough up a lighter fabric, and it keeps its shape while it does it. The surface is matte with a dry hand, and the weave shows clearly when you hold it to the light - real cloth with body, not a coated imitation.

The standard shell runs in a heavy workwear weight, with a mid weight setting for milder climates. A garment wash can be added where a buyer wants the jacket soft from the first wear; unwashed, the canvas starts firm and moulds to the wearer over the first weeks. Core colours are the working shades - stone, khaki, olive and brown - dyed to your standard and held across the run, so a reorder hangs beside this year's stock without a shade jump.

Triple-Stitched Seams, Patch Pockets and a Snap Button Front

The front closes with brass snaps on a clean placket - fast to open with gloves on, flat under a tool belt, and simple to repair years from now. Four patch pockets sit on the front: two at the chest for a phone and notebook, two large lower pockets that take gloves, tape and small tools. An inside pocket keeps a wallet against the body.

The seams that carry the strain are triple stitched - shoulder, armhole, side and yoke - and every pocket corner is bar tacked where hands drag across it daily. Pleats at the back shoulder give reach for lifting and driving without the hem riding up, cuffs close with a snap tab, and an optional corduroy collar can be set for the classic chore coat finish. The build is checked on the body at sample stage, not only measured flat.

Canvas Jacket Sizes S to XXXL Graded for the Canadian Market

The block is graded on adult men's measurements from S to XXXL, with chest room, shoulder width, body length and sleeve length growing together, so the big sizes keep the same shape as the sample size. Canadian buyers order this jacket as a working outer layer over a fleece or hooded sweatshirt, so programs for that market carry a touch more body and sleeve length, set into the block and kept under the buyer's name.

Send your own size chart and we produce to it instead. The approved chart is locked into the production file and checked against finished garments at final audit, so the size L you ship next season measures the same as the one on your shelves now.

Private Label Canvas Jackets with Your Woven Label and Tags

Most canvas jackets leave here under the buyer's own brand. Your woven label goes at the neck, your size tabs and care labels follow your format, and your mark can be carried as embroidery at the chest or as a stitched patch on the pocket or sleeve. Patch artwork is sampled on the real canvas before bulk - canvas is a firm cloth, and stitch density and backing are set for it, so the badge sits flat and the cloth does not pucker.

Hang tags and packing to your warehouse or retail format complete the program. Jackets arrive folded and tagged, ready for your stockroom, your stores or direct issue to a crew.

How a Canvas Jacket Order Runs from Sample to Shipment

Send your colour, size spread and artwork and we return a costed quotation with cloth and lining options. A pre-production sample follows in your main colour with your label and patch applied - wear it, wash it, work the snaps and pull at the pockets. Only on your written approval do we cut bulk. Inline inspectors check measurements, pocket placement and stitching as the run proceeds, and finished jackets pass a final audit.

The minimum order is 3,000 pieces in total across the order, with sizes and colours combined inside that total; within it, each colour and style runs from 800 pieces, so a brand can open with two or three colours in one program. Your approved sample, chart and colour standards stay on file under your name, so the next order is a reorder.

Markets We Ship Canvas Jackets To

USA: Chore and Utility Jacket Lines for Workwear Brands

American workwear brands run this jacket as the chore coat at the centre of their utility lines - heavy canvas, snap front, own label and patch - in sizes up to XXXL.

UK: Heritage Workwear and Outdoor Retail Ranges

British outdoor and heritage retailers take the canvas jacket as a hard wearing casual layer with a workwear story behind it, packed and tagged for the shop floor.

Germany: Craft and Trade Suppliers Buying Heavy Canvas

Trade suppliers in Germany order the jacket for craftsmen who wear one garment all week - heavy canvas, triple stitching and a straight, honest cut are what their customers ask for.

Canada: Blanket-Lined Canvas Jackets for Cold-Climate Crews

Canadian crews take the jacket with a blanket or flannel lining and room to layer under it, for farm and yard work through the cold months, graded on the longer Canadian block.

France: Chore Coat Styles for Lifestyle Labels

French lifestyle labels run the same jacket as a chore coat - four pocket front, corduroy collar where the collection calls for it, and their own woven label at the neck.

Australia: Rural Work and Station Wear Programs

Rural suppliers in Australia order the unlined mid weight setting for station and farm wear, where canvas stands up to wire, timber and dust and the snap front suits gloved hands.

Questions USA Buyers Ask Before Ordering Canvas Jackets

What canvas weights do you sew jackets in?

The standard setting is a heavy duck canvas for work programs, with a mid weight option for milder climates and layered ranges. The weight is fixed at sampling and held on your file for reorders.

Can the jacket take a flannel or quilted lining?

Yes. Flannel and blanket linings are the common choices, with quilted linings where a program needs more warmth. The lining is set into the sample, so you approve the finished jacket, not a swatch.

Can we put our logo on an embroidered chest patch?

Yes. Send the artwork and we sample the patch on the real canvas, with stitch density and backing set for the firm cloth; every jacket is then patched to a placement template.

What is the minimum order quantity for canvas jackets?

The minimum is 3,000 pieces per order across sizes and colours, with each colour and style running from 800 pieces within it.

Do you deliver canvas jacket orders to the USA?

Yes. The USA is the lead market for this jacket, and orders ship with full export documentation, through your nominated forwarder or freight arranged by us. Other markets are covered in the markets section above.

If a heavy canvas jacket belongs in your next range, send us your colour and artwork. We will reply with a quotation, cloth options and a sample timeline.
