Chef Uniforms

Chef Uniforms Made to Order in Bangladesh for Kitchen Teams

A kitchen runs on its whites. When a jacket pulls across the shoulders or an apron string snaps mid service, the whole brigade feels it, and the buyer who supplied the uniforms hears about it first. Chef uniforms are working clothes: worn hot, washed hard, and still expected to look sharp at the pass. Siatex Bangladesh has sewn garments in Dhaka since 1987, and our chef range is built the way kitchens use it - jacket, apron and trousers as one program.

Every order is made to order: your cloth, your colours, your embroidery, your label and your packing, produced as one controlled run in our own plant.

Poly-Cotton Twill Jackets Built for Hot Lines and Hard Washing

The standard jacket cloth is a poly-cotton twill, the blend kitchens ask for most. The cotton face keeps the jacket breathable over a hot line, while the polyester in the weave holds the white through boil washing, keeps the shape at collar and cuffs, and dries fast for the daily wash. The weave is a true twill with a dry matte face.

An all cotton jacket can be set on the same pattern, and the weight moves a step lighter for warm climate kitchens or firmer for heavy laundry programs. White is the core colour, held to an approved standard across the run, so next year's replacements match this year's set.

Cloth Knot Buttons, a Reversible Front and Pockets Where Hands Go

The jacket is cut double breasted: when one side of the front marks during service, the chef crosses the front the other way and presents a clean chest at the pass. The buttons are cloth knots tied through loops - no hard button to crack, and the knots untie so the jacket washes flat.

The collar stands clean, the chest carries a welt pocket, and a divided pen and thermometer pocket sits on the left sleeve. Cuffs turn back and button to stay at the wrist over the stove. Stress points - underarm, pocket mouths, the base of the front wrap - are double stitched or bar tacked, and fit is checked on the body at sampling, arms working.

Aprons, Trousers and Headwear That Complete the Kitchen Set

A uniform program rarely stops at the jacket. Waist aprons and bib aprons come off the same lines, in the same twill family: a split centre pocket for the pass team, an adjustable neck on the bib for the prep benches, in white or in the stone and grey shades that hide the day better between washes. Strings are cut from the shell cloth and hemmed.

Chef trousers run in a small woven check or plain twill, with an elastic back waist and drawstring, pockets set for a shift and a leg that lets a cook crouch and climb. Skull caps, neckerchiefs and bandanas finish the set.

Chef Uniform Sizes XS to XXXL Graded for the German Hotel Market

The jacket block is graded on adult chest measurements from XS to XXXL with a unisex cut: shoulder width, sleeve length and body length grow with the chest, so large sizes do not turn into sacks and small sizes keep a grown-up fit. Trousers grade by waist with leg lengths per size.

German hotel and catering buyers, who audit uniform programs closely, asked for a touch more jacket length and a higher apron bib; those settings sit in the block for their programs under the buyer's name. Send your own size chart and we produce to it instead: the approved chart is locked into the production file and checked at final audit, so a size L next season measures the same as this season's.

Embroidered Names, Kitchen Logos and Packing by Role

Most chef jackets carry a name, and ours are embroidered to be read across a kitchen. The name sits above the chest pocket, the house logo on the chest or sleeve, stitched with density and backing set for twill so the cloth stays flat around the letters - no puckering, no wandering threads. We sew a sample with your actual artwork on the real cloth before bulk, so you approve the lettering as it will truly look.

Your woven label sits at the neck, and packing splits the way your commissary issues the kit: by size for a uniform store, or by role and site for group programs. Uniforms arrive folded, bagged and cartoned, ready for your warehouse.

Ordering Chef Uniforms: Kitchen Specification, Sample, Then Bulk Sewing

Send your specification - cloth, jacket style, apron types, sizes, embroidery artwork and packing - and we return a costed quotation with cloth options. A pre-production sample set follows in your main colour: put it on your team, run it through your laundry, work a service in it. Only on your written approval do we cut bulk, with inline checks on measurements, knot buttons and embroidery as the run proceeds, and a final audit before cartons close.

Programs start from 3,000 pieces in total per order, jackets, aprons, trousers and headwear combined; within it, each colour and style runs from 800 pieces. Your approved sample, chart and colour standards stay on file, so the next order starts as a reorder.

Markets We Ship Chef Uniforms To

USA: Restaurant Groups and Hotel Kitchen Programs

American restaurant groups and hotel operators standardise their whites across properties through us: one jacket pattern, one apron set and name embroidery held on file, so a new opening kits its brigade from the existing program.

UK: Chef Whites for Hospitality Uniform Suppliers

British hospitality uniform suppliers carry our chef range as their kitchen core - knot-button jackets, waist aprons and checked trousers under their own label, restocked to the same standards.

Germany: Kitchen Uniforms for Catering Companies and Canteen Operators

German catering and canteen buyers order full programs with the longer jacket setting and audited size charts, packed by site in marked cartons.

Canada: Culinary School and Restaurant Chain Kits

Canadian culinary schools kit their students through us - jacket, apron, trousers and cap as one set with the school crest embroidered - and chains run the same program across locations.

France: Bistro and Brasserie Chef Wear for Own-Label Ranges

French own-label ranges take the classic cut for bistro and brasserie kitchens: double-breasted front, cloth knots and a closer fit, with their label, tags and retail packing.

UAE: Hotel Kitchen Uniforms for Hospitality Groups

Hospitality groups in the Emirates order the lighter cloth setting for hot kitchens, with name embroidery for large brigades and packing split by property for each hotel's laundry.

Questions USA Buyers Ask Before Ordering Chef Uniforms

Can chef names and kitchen logos be embroidered on the jacket?

Yes. Send the names list and artwork and we embroider to a placement template - name above the chest pocket, logo on the chest or sleeve - sampled on the real cloth for approval before bulk.

Do the cloth knot buttons come off for washing?

Yes. The knots tie through loops instead of sitting sewn hard to the front, so they untie before washing and pressing and retie in seconds - the construction commercial laundries prefer.

Which cloth should we choose for a hot kitchen, cotton or poly-cotton?

Most programs choose poly-cotton twill: it breathes over a hot line, holds its white through boil washing and dries fast. All cotton feels softer and more traditional but asks more of the laundry. The choice is fixed at sampling.

What is the minimum order quantity for chef uniforms?

Programs start from 3,000 pieces per order, jackets, aprons, trousers and headwear combined; each colour and style runs from 800 pieces inside that total.

Do you deliver chef uniform orders to the USA?

Yes. The USA is the lead market for this range, and every order ships with full export documentation, through your nominated forwarder or freight arranged by us.

If your kitchens are due a uniform refresh, send us your specification and artwork. We will reply with a quotation, cloth options and a sample timeline.
