Formal Dress Shirts from Bangladesh for USA Brands and Department Stores
Our dress shirts are made to order in our Bangladesh factory for brands and stores that sell formality by the rail - the shirt a man reaches for at a wedding, a board meeting or the first day of a new job. A collar that frames a tie and a front that stays smooth all day lift a dress shirt above every other shirt in the wardrobe, and they are what we sew to.
Materials: Cotton poplin, pinpoint oxford and fine cotton twill, plus poly-cotton easy-care settings, in white, light blue, stone and soft pink, woven fine with a matte finish.
Functionality: Fused semi-spread, cutaway or classic point collars, single-needle seams throughout, a shoulder yoke with a centre box pleat, and regular or slim fits with button or convertible cuffs.
Size: Neck sizes from 14.5 to 18 inches with matched sleeve lengths, graded on your chart or ours, with chest, waist and body length set separately on each fit block.
Customization: Your woven neck label and size tabs, branded buttons, hang tags and barcodes, and retail packing - each shirt board-folded with collar support and tissue, in your box or bag.

Dress Shirts Made to Order in Bangladesh for Brand and Department Store Programs
A dress shirt is the most judged garment a man owns. It sits closest to the face, under a jacket and over a tie, and every fault shows - a collar that wilts, a placket that ripples, a front that pulls across the second button. We sew dress shirts to order in our Bangladesh factory for brands, department stores and menswear retailers who need that standard held across a whole range.
Every range is built as a program, not as single shirts: one collar library, two fit blocks, a fixed cloth standard and a packing spec, so each shirt reaches the shelf exactly as the last one did. The white shirt your store sells this spring is the same white shirt it reorders in autumn.
Fine Poplin, Pinpoint Oxford and Cotton Twill Woven for Formal Dress Shirts
Poplin is the classic dress shirt cloth: a tight plain weave with a smooth, cool face that takes a sharp press and sits flat under a jacket. Pinpoint oxford weaves two yarns over two, giving a fine basket texture that reads softer and less stark than poplin, which suits softer formal ranges. Cotton twill shows a faint diagonal line, drapes heavier and hides creasing across a long day.
The core colours are the colours formal ranges sell - white first, then light blue, stone and soft pink - dyed to your standard and held across the run. An easy-care setting is available on any of the three cloths where a store wants a shirt that presses back cleanly with less ironing.
Single-Needle Seams and Fused Collars Built to Hold a Tie Line
Formal sewing is single-needle work. Seams are stitched at a fine pitch and felled flat, so armhole and side seams lie smooth and do not pucker after washing. It is slower than chain stitching, and a buyer feels the difference with one thumb along the inside seam.
The collar is fused with interlining matched to the cloth weight and cut to your shape - semi-spread for a modern tie knot, cutaway for a wider spread, or a classic point. The points are turned and pressed to sit flat, stays can be sewn in or supplied removable, and the band is height-set so a tie slides under it cleanly. Buttons are pearl-look, cross-stitched and shanked so they sit proud of the placket, not sunk into it.
Two Fit Blocks - Regular and Slim - Patterned Separately
A slim dress shirt is not a regular shirt taken in at the side seams. Our slim block is patterned separately: a higher armhole, a narrower sleeve, shaping through the waist and optional back darts, so the front stays clean when a man reaches or sits. The regular block keeps more room through the chest and waist, where most formal ranges still sell their volume.
Both blocks carry a tuck-in body length with a curved hem, and both run on the same collar and cuff library, so one colour story carries two fits without splitting into two shirts.
Neck Sizes 14.5 to 18 Inches Graded for the German Formalwear Market
Dress shirts are bought by the neck, so the grading starts there: half-inch steps from 14.5 to 18 inches, each with a matched sleeve length and chest and waist grades that hold proportion at the top of the range. German formalwear buyers often send their own chart, with metric body figures behind the inch sizes; we grade from it, or from our house chart adjusted to your fit profile.
Tall and short sleeve options can be built in where a market asks for them, and each store receives its own size ratio, packed and counted against the ratio sheet, never bulked into mixed cartons.
Your Neck Label, Branded Buttons and a Boxed Finish Ready for the Shelf
A dress shirt sells with its brand showing in quiet places: the woven label in the neck, the size tab beside it, and your name on the buttons where the quantity supports the tooling. Hang tags and barcode stickers follow your retail format, applied at packing so the store does no finishing work.
The standard retail finish is a board fold with collar support, butterfly clips and tissue over the front, into your printed box or bag. For gift ranges the same shirt goes into a rigid gift box with tissue and a ribbon slot, ready for the till. Cartons leave us marked by style, colour and size ratio, matched to your warehouse intake sheet.
Markets We Ship Dress Shirts To
USA: Formal Ranges for Dress Shirt Labels and Department Stores
American labels and department stores run the core program: white and light blue in both fits, seasonal colour added twice a year, reordered against the same locked patterns, so the fit approved once is the fit that arrives.
UK: Dress Shirts for High-Street Formal and Occasion Retail
British high-street retailers build their formal and occasion rails on the slim block, with cutaway collars and a strong white core that peaks at wedding season and holds through Christmas.
Germany: Own-Label Formal Shirts for Department and Mail-Order Retailers
German department and mail-order retailers order own-label ranges graded from their own charts, with strict measurement tolerance and size ratios packed per distribution centre.
Canada: Wedding and Graduation Shirt Programs for Menswear Stores
Canadian stores take the occasion program: white first, then soft pink and stone, with a higher share of gift-boxed shirts for weddings and graduation season.
France: Slim-Fit Dress Shirts for Fashion-Led Menswear Boutiques
French boutiques order the closest fits and the widest collars, in smaller colour stories that turn over fast, with branding kept to the neck label and buttons.
Australia: Lightweight Formal Shirts for Menswear Chains
Australian chains choose the lightest poplin and pinpoint settings with an easy-care finish, favouring short colour runs beside a white and light blue core.
Ordering Dress Shirts: Fit Approval, Pre-Production Sample, Shelf-Ready Bulk
An order starts with your specification, a reference shirt or one of our blocks adjusted to your chart. We price the range in the cloths you choose and sew a fit sample in your main colour, followed by a pre-production sample in bulk cloth with your label, buttons and full retail packing, so the shirt you approve is the shirt the store unpacks.
The standard minimum is 3,000 pieces per order, split across fits, colours and collar shapes at 800 pieces per colour and style. Once samples are approved, production runs with in-line checks on collar shape, stitch quality and measurements, then a final audit against your tolerance table and packing to the ratio sheet.
Questions USA Buyers Ask Before Ordering Dress Shirts
Do regular and slim fits count together in one order?
Yes. The two blocks share cloth, collars and packing, and they count together toward the 3,000 minimum, split at 800 pieces per colour and style.
Which collar shapes can a dress shirt range carry?
Semi-spread, cutaway and classic point are the core shapes, cut from your pattern or ours. Most ranges open with semi-spread and add cutaway on the slim block.
Do the shirts arrive folded and boxed for the shelf?
Yes. The standard finish is a board fold with collar support and tissue in your box or bag, tags and barcodes applied, so store staff put shirts straight on the rail.
What is the minimum order quantity for dress shirts?
3,000 pieces per order in total. Within that total, each colour and style needs 800 pieces, which lets a range cover two fits and several colours in one shipment.
Can finished dress shirts ship straight to our USA warehouse?
Yes. Finished, packed orders ship to United States ports, consolidators or your warehouse address on the usual export terms, with cartons marked to your standard and documents prepared for your forwarder.
